QA Analyst – OTT Remit

OTT Remit is the newest online remittance app launched by OTT Financial Inc., which allows customers to easily and quickly send money from Canada to their families and friends globally.
We focus on driving conversion (new and returning customers) and customer retention, through best-in-class remittance customer journeys. You will be involved in many exciting and innovative projects designed to the industry forward and enhance our clients’ experience.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Review product requirements and designs with testability, usability, and scalability in mind
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for product features and customer use case scenarios
  • Think outside of the box and come up with new creative ways to test and break the system
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing and defect management
  • Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and perform Functional, UAT, SIT, API, Performance, and Regression testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Work closely with the Development and marketing teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and verify defect fixes
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, understands systems design and architecture
  • Excellent collaborator with strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with testers, developers, and analysts in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Understands how to apply knowledge of quality assurance best practices.

  • Discover marketing opportunities from user analytics and data, increase the number of both new and loyal users of platform through marketing activities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related experience
  • 3 years ‘hands-on experience developing test cases for functional, performance, and regression testing including experience with manual and automation test approaches on Mobile and Cross-Browser testing and API testing
  • Systems and business processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with an ability to stay focused on deadlines and deliverables
  • Focus and attention on customer experience
  • Quick learning ability to learn new things independently. seeks areas of improvement for personal growth
  • Self-driven demeanor focuses and commits, proposes solutions and improvements
