Job Description


Who we are looking for:\xe2\x80\x8b

  • Works with a team to complete tasks related to testing strategy to meet the Definition of Done
  • Troubleshoots problems encountered in testing
  • Follows agreed-upon testing practices and drives the definition of test readiness and acceptance criteria for user stories and defects.
  • Designs, documents and executes test cases for manual and automated tests.
  • Isolates issues and creates succinct & precise reproduction steps when reporting defects.
  • Develops and maintains test documentation including test plans, procedures, reports, etc.
  • Actively trains in basic automation skills and assists in running scripts.
  • Actively trains intermediate automation skills and assists in maintaining scripts.
  • Take ownership of the quality of the product (functional readiness + code quality + performance)
  • Identifies blocking issues impacting team commitments and obstacles.
  • Proposes solutions to obstacles.
  • Schedules and runs test strategy reviews
  • Takes test ownership over multiple functional areas and becomes a subject matter expert.
  • Engages in backlog grooming, planning, and design reviews, performs test strategy reviews
  • Troubleshoots the most complex problems.
  • Learns currently active test suites and patterns, analyzes results, and contributes to improvements.
  • Guides the work and mentors Test Engineers.
  • Creates automated tests and maintains them.
  • Great team player who collaborates well within his/her scrum team.
  • Makes and meets commitments to his/her scrum team.
  • Actively engages and contributes to all Agile ceremonies and meetings on time.
  • Communicates progress and impediments to the team promptly.
  • Solicits feedback during the development of the test strategy and detailed tests
  • Dedication to customer success.
  • Acts as the voice of the client in design reviews and testing
  • Trains in customers\xe2\x80\x99 use of CRD products and the FinTech market.
  • Acquires knowledge of technology trends and industry innovations.
  • Understand the business vision and business objectives.
  • Understand how his/her day-to-day work aligns with business objectives.
  • Applies a thorough understanding of client workflows and client data to the test strategy

Qualifications and educational requirements:
  • BA/BS degree with 2-4 years QA Testing experience
  • Financial services domain knowledge preferrable
