Job Description
Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and test software applications in collaboration with the development team and business partners
- Ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an agile environment
- Analyze, design, and support the implementation of Oracle PL/SQL, Views, and database tables based on business requirements
- Hands-on development using PYSPARK, PYTHON, and SQL
- Performance tuning, explain plan understanding, normalization, renormalization, and star schema design
- Create and modify database tables and develop stored procedures, triggers, and SQL queries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and database management
- Strong proficiency in PYSPARK, PYTHON, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Proficient in PYSPARK, PYTHON, SQL programming languages
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning, and database design
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and coordination skills in a distributed team setting
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certifications in PYSPARK, Python, and SQL
- Experience with UI development and UNIX systems
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and data warehousing concepts
