P*yramid Model Mentor Project Manager*To apply: Please send your resume and cover letter to email provided belowJob Purpose: Work as a collaborative leader, guiding and implementing the pyramid model on Prince Edward Island. Provide support to Mentors on a weekly basis. The primary purpose of this position it to ensure the Pyramid Model Mentors have the support and structures necessary to ensure the consistency of coaching across the province. Attend and organize regular meetings with mentors and other stakeholders, that involves relationship building, listening, reflective process, case presentations, problem solving, guidance, and re commendations. Additionally , quarterly reflective group sessions are facilitated with the Coaches and Pilot sites. Works directly with the Provincial Leadership Team to ensure project goals and targets are being met. Responsible for all monitoring and reporting to stakeholders, funders, and evaluators.Job Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications: -Degree (or working towards) in Early Childhood Education.-Outstanding inter-cultural communication skills, both written and verbal (another language is an asset).-Strong organizational and administrative skills.- A minimum of 12 years experience in the ELCC sector.-Self-directed, results-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines.-Strong computer skills.-Must demonstrate strong record keeping skills, basic filing and detailed report writing.-Experience in coaching and/or mentoring.- Demonstrate a knowledge of Prince Edward Island Early Years legislation, policy, and procedures including but not limited to PEI Early Learning Framework.-Demonstrate skills in reflective practice and relationship building.-Demonstrate flexibility in providing consultation and support through a province-wide context (by distance and in-person).-Experience with strategic planning, models of change and project management (such as experience with governing board).-Experience supporting children with exceptionalities.-Knowledge and/or experience with the Pyramid model considered an asset.Job Responsibilities: -Develop and sustain collaborative and respectful relationships with all community partners.- Work collaboratively with ECDA Team, and Provincial Leadership Team in order to develop and implement project plans, identify activities, intended outcomes, and monitor progress.-Respect the confidentiality of early learning and childcare programs and family information.- Supervision of Pyramid Model Mentors.-Present to community, other government Departments/Agencies as required.-Establish regular and ongoing communication with the Pyramid Model Mentors.-Promote the Pyramid Model and the long-term benefits for children's social-emotional development and well- being within the community.- Champion the Pyramid Model in community and conference presentations.- Ensure all data is analyzed and summarized for reporting purposes on regularly scheduled timelines.- Participate in research and program evaluation.-Coordinate the Scheduling and tracking of the TPOT and TIPITOS administration.-Coordination and facilitation of reflective practice meetings.-Stay current in research and best practice in Early Childhood Care and Education.- Participate in research and program evaluation as required.Reports to: Professional Learning Coordinator, Executive Director, Provincial Leadership TeamJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
