This is role offers a remote work model!The Procurement Officer will be responsible for:-Managing all sourcing activities including analysis, strategy, benchmarking, vendor selection.-Ensure all policies, procedures and competitions are followed as per the Broader Public Sector Directives-Consult with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, research products and suppliers and prepare RFx.-Administer procurement processes-Manage vendor relationships-Negotiate on terms and conditions with suppliers and oversee performance-Other duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-A Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar field of study-3 to 5 years prior experience in a similar role-Must have a solid understanding of the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directives (BPS)-Strong communication and client service skills-Advanced MS Excel skills-Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar system would be a strong assetRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
