Reporting directly to the Production & Purchasing Manager (8), the Purchasing Associate is an integral part of the Company?s Product Delivery Team. Assisting the production team, the Purchasing Associate is integral for helping assist in deliverables, creating a smooth running of the warehouse and the quality of production output.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Help the Production & Purchasing Manager (8) liaise with other departments to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Support the manager in administration and clerical tasks
  • Establishes and maintains recordkeeping (e.g. PO, vendor information, transactions) for purchasing and accounting
  • Coordinates with managers to maintain targeted inventory levels
  • Assist the Production & Purchasing Manager (8) with ensuring newly implemented policies and procedures are followed, and suggesting policy adjustments for effective operations
  • Support and maintain the health and safety guidelines, ensuring they are followed
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in purchasing, preferably in a warehouse/ electronics production environment
  • Working knowledge in software and hardware packages appropriate to the business
  • Working knowledge of purchasing procedures and policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
