We are currently seeking a results-oriented Purchasing Agent/Project Administrator who is dedicated to delivering superior service. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for procuring materials and supplies for our ongoing and upcoming renovation projects. This pivotal role involves ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, coordinating approvals, creating work requests, generating purchase orders, and maintaining organized documentation.Role and Expectations:

• Purchasing of materials for all current and upcoming projects
• Tracking orders and project budgets on AGM tracking sheet
• Generate work requests based on project requirements.
• Assist operations in actioning request for POs (RFPOs) for additional materials and labour needed
• Ensure timely receipt of fixture sheets and approvals.
• Verify that all necessary information is included in fixture sheets and drawings.
• Create purchase orders upon trade approval.
• Maintain an organized document repository, uploading documents to Google Drive
• Processing and properly documenting all credit card purchases for project materials

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing role
• Construction industry experience is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong listening skills and the ability to address concerns effectively
• Ability to multitask, take direction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated influencing and closing skills
• Experience using purchasing software\xe2\x80\x99s preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
