We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our dynamic team. Duties

Manage the procurement process by sourcing and buying materials required for production. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate prices and terms, ensuring favorable conditions for the company. Utilize our software and MRP systems to track inventory levels, manage orders, and maintain accurate records. Analyze vendor performance to optimize sourcing strategies. Coordinate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and timelines. Maintain effective vendor management by building strong relationships and ensuring compliance with agreements. Assist in fabricating reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and inventory status. Updating pricing and inventory adjustments New part number creation

Skills

Strong understanding of supply chain management principles. Proficient in vendor management practices. Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes. Ability to analyze pricing structures and negotiate effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
