Job Description

We are looking to fill the opening of Purchaser on our team! We manufacture metal roofing and siding in Western Canada. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of our team at our Corporate Office in Sherwood Park, AB.

The role of Purchaser will be responsible for the purchasing of inventory, distributing inventory into satellite locations, manage supplier relationships, ensure on time delivery of products, and negotiate with suppliers for favorable price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.

Process PO Requisitions and place POs with qualified suppliers utilizing the latest pricing secured in our company database.

Work closely with production teams in all locations to manage alignment of inventory required to satisfy manufacturing demands. Develop "production hot list" and prioritize supplier delivery.

Process all receiving paperwork, matching PO's to invoices for the payables department
