Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing for clients. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in client condition to nursing staff. Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, especially for those with dementia or disabilities.

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred. Familiarity with senior care practices and caregiving techniques is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is a plus. Knowledge of basic nursing skills such as medication administration and patient care protocols is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. A commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining client dignity and respect.
