Position

Punch Press Operator - Edmonton, AB

We are currently seeking a reliable and detailed-oriented Punch Press Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for operating and maintaining punch press machines to produce high quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate punch press machines according to specifications Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. Follow safety guidelines and report any issues to the department lead.

Qualifications

Previous experience operating a punch press or similar machinery is preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from a standing and seated position. Forklift experience and certification an asset. Willingness to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
