Job Posting: Publishing Assistant Summer 2023 Youth Work Opportunity Lion\xe2\x80\x99s Roar, North America\xe2\x80\x99s largest publisher of Buddhist content, offers an excellent work opportunity for a business-minded youth wanting to experience the world of publishing from the inside this summer. The successful candidate will apply their skills, knowledge, and interest to the operations side of our continuously growing print and digital publishing concern. Depending on your skills and experience and our current priorities you may:

• Help with online directory research and profile creation
• Assist with the creation of Author Pages
• Data entry
• Support search engine optimization (SEO) efforts
• Assist with the creation of consumer surveys and questionnaires
• Update online store entries
• Extend use of cross-selling, links, and tags in store
• Produce social media for marketing
• Support the advertising department with lead generation
• Create and populate a database of content and contributors
• Assist with configuration and testing of Wordpress plugins

What do I need:

• Experience with HTML and CSS would be an asset.
• Education in Business & Management or Computer Science & Technology preferred but not required
• Ability to help develop analysis of results & interpretation of data.
• Assist in development & troubleshooting of new algorithms and software.
• A \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude and excitement about problem-solving and critical thinking
• Attention to detail
