Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Room Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional housekeeping services. As a Public Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of public areas within our establishment. Duties

Clean and sanitize public washrooms regularly, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met Mop, sweep, and vacuum floors in all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and entrances Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area, including wiping surfaces, collecting used towels, and ensuring safety signage is in place Clean and restock gym area, including sanitizing equipment, refilling water stations, and replenishing towels Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the main lobby, including dusting furniture, cleaning glass surfaces, and removing trash Stock housekeeping supply rooms with necessary items (e.g. towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies) Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, providing assistance or relaying requests to appropriate departments Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual activity to the supervisor Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in accordance with hotel standards and schedules

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is beneficial. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as needed. A background in industrial cleaning or custodial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
