Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns and media relations strategies, tailored to the energy sector.
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that effectively communicates our vision and achievements in the energy industry.
Manage media inquiries and interview requests, acting as a spokesperson for the company as needed.
Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
Organize and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and other PR events.
Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders in the energy sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related role, specifically within the oil and gas industry.
Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
Strong relationships with both local and national media outlets.
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically, even under pressure.
Proficiency in social media, content creation, and PR software.
Available to start early March 2024.
Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
