To support our mission and serve our clients with future communications, we are seeking a number of communications professionals to join our growing practice as part of a collaborative newsroom.Senior members of the sports team at Hill & Knowlton (H&K) are active leaders of projects, trusted consultants to our clients as well as developing partnerships with government authorities, sports, event companies and organizing bodies. Our directors and managers are passionate and proactive about storytelling, developing knowledge and championing H&K standards. Roles vary from being full time consultants on specific project management campaigns to working across selected key accounts across our portfolio of events.The role requires mobility and flexibility to travel with the successful candidate running live events planning, delivery across marketing functions.At this level, you have the experience and autonomy to independently lead projects, planning and delivering newsrooms with knowledge and experience across the mix; from content production to design and data and devising publishing channel strategies (traditional and social; earned, owned, shared and paid).The role requires brilliant basics of excellent written and communication skills and first class media and influencer relations. The successful candidate will need to bring fresh ideas, creative thinking, energy and a strategic mindset to developing and producing high quality, tailored news and content.You will also be able to identify new opportunities and play a proactive role in terms of proposal development. The candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear ability to line manage, lead juniors and teams within projects.

  • Act as senior lead client contact who can take wider business and marketing strategy and development them into digital and social media content and publishing strategies
  • Champion the importance of client satisfaction and service within the team, leading by example and encouraging positive client relationship building behaviour and champion stand-out work
  • Work well within collaborative, integrated teams, displaying a proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines and budgets, anticipating issues and working towards solution of complex problems
  • Have exceptional creative and proposal writing skills
  • Act as H&K spokesperson, improving client relationship, service and scope
  • Display strong technical proficiency across marketing platforms and inherent curiosity about merging platforms
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team

  • Take a lead role on strategic consultancy services such as media training, messaging, strategy development, flight school and crisis preparation/handling
  • Be seen as a leader within your office; display gravitas; manage difficult client relationships
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University degree
  • 10++ years\' relevant industry experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven presentation and planning capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Bilingual is an asset
