Peter LeGeyt Recruiting partnered with our Victoria public practice client to recruit for a Senior Accountant. We are looking for an innovative, self-starting Senior Accountant who has a desire to improve an established practice and in the long term, take a partnership interest. The client works closely with many startups so if that is your area of interest, this would be an attractive firm for you! Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with ASPE
- Prepare accurate review engagements
- Prepare compliation engagements autonomously
- Prepare complex corporate and personal tax returns
- Project and forecast business plans
- Advise clients with tax planning and regulatory issues
- 2+ years of public accounting firm experience
- CPA designation
- Relevant education in accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Working knowledge of ASPE and/or IFRS
- Dental care

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
