The
Public Area Waterpark Cleaner
ensures the public areas of the waterpark are kept clean and organized.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team
Willingness to accept the most effective role.
Complete daily tasks following Kaizen processes and procedures.
Perform assigned cleaning and disinfecting duties throughout the waterpark, including washrooms and changing areas.
Collect towels and remove garbage from change rooms and common areas.
Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Understand and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Follow and enforce park and Pack Member regulations and procedures.
Close with an open mentality.
Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
Adhere to HotSOS guidelines.
Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Financial
Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
Maintain all tools (vacuums, brooms, carts, etc.) in excellent condition.
Qualifications & Traits
Knowledgeable in housekeeping and sanitation practices with strong attention to detail.
Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements as per Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Exhibit excellent oral communication skills.
Committed to exceeding guest expectations through outstanding service.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 35lbs., walk and/or stand for long periods.
Capable of working in a hot, humid and chlorinated environment.
Additional Requirements
Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member's confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
