A Returning Family in the Dunbar Area (Vancouver) Is Looking for a Part-Time Nanny to Start ASAP, Earn Up to $35+/Hour!

This family of five in the Dunbar Area (Vancouver), with three children aged 9, 7, and 3, is looking for a dependable part-time nanny who can start as soon as possible, provide long-term care, and be a positive influence in the children's lives. They are offering up to $35+ per hour for the right candidate.


Schedule:


Monday: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM


Tuesday: 2:30 PM - 6:30PM


Wednesday: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM


Thursday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM


Friday: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM


Note: Occasional later nights may be needed with advance notice, especially during the week for school or work events. Total hours per week will be 25-30 hours.


This is a childcare-focused role, prioritizing the children's well-being and self-regulation. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


1. Providing general childcare for the three children.


2. Transporting the children from school and to their after-school activities.


3. Assisting with homework and proactively coming up with educational activities for the children during their free time, starting projects together with them, encouraging their piano practice and other activities, and helping the kids with self-regulation as needed.


4. Meal and snack preparation for the children.


5. Light tidying related to the children.


The children are very active and fun, and they need someone to help them channel their energy. They are particularly looking for a candidate with experience working with multiples (required) who can enforce rules, set boundaries, and handle sibling conflicts as they arise. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, outgoing, and proactive, especially when it comes to engaging in educational activities with the children.


The mom will be at home almost all the time. They also have one small dog, but no pet care is required. However, they would appreciate it if the nanny is comfortable working around a pet.


Experience working with multiples is required.


A background or special skills in piano, sports, or baking would be a bonus!


Driving is required, and a car will be provided during work hours.
