PTA Welder

Ideal Candidate must possess a combination of the following knowledge, skills, personal attributes, and physical demands:

Comply with Health and Safety rules, policies and procedures of the company and OHSA. Operate machines in a safe manner by following safety rules and operational procedures. Wear personal protective equipment as required. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and welding process specifications and perform work accordingly. Weld parts by ensuring proper setup-lineup of parts and ensuring corrects settings are engaged for proper weld/coating requirements. Transport raw materials and finished products manually, using pallet jack, forklift or overhead crane, with certified training provided. Maintain a clean working environment, clean all tools, equipment and perform housekeeping activities as required. Perform other duties as assigned by Cell Leader & Production Manager.

Equipment Operation:

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, plasma arc.

PTA Welding experience preferred, however willing to train the right candidate. Wages to commensurate on experience and qualifications.

Reside in Wetaskiwin or within a 40 km radius, with reliable transportation to and from work.

Candidates must be willing and able to work all scheduled shift work and overtime as required.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, these hours may change once training is complete or as operational needs change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
