Position Overview:

We're seeking a friendly and motivated

Part-Time Sales Associate

who is comfortable around animals and enjoys helping customers. This role involves customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on their feet during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable manner Recommend appropriate products based on pet needs Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Stock shelves and rotate products (may require lifting up to 50 lbs) Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store Assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory counts Follow store procedures and safety guidelines Occasionally interact with pets brought into the store

Requirements:

Must be comfortable and confident around dogs, cats, and small animals Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required
