Job Description
We are looking for a Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist wanted for Urbanview Dental, located in Downtown Toronto. New grads welcome! Successful candidate will have a welcoming and friendly personality along with a passion for dental hygiene and educating patients on how to achieve their optimal oral health. We offer competitive wages!
The shifts Urbanview is looking to fill are as follows:
Mondays: 2pm to 8pm
Wednesdays: 2pm to 8pm
Fridays: 8am to 8pm
Alternating Saturdays: (2nd & 4th of the month) 8am to 2pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, reassuring, seating draping patient in a warm, friendly manner
- Arrest dental decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents
- Document dental hygiene services by recording medical/dental histories and charting in patient records
- Provide information to patients and colleagues by answering questions and requests
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of Dental Hygiene Program
- Experience with dental softwares an asset, but not necessary
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain professional rapport with patients, dentists and other staff members
Working Hours and Locations
Urbanview Dental: 700 Bay St Street Level- on, Gerrard St W, Toronto, ON M5G 1Z6
Our office is open Monday through Friday - 8AM to 8PM and Saturdays - 8AM to 2PM
