We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience, working closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional service in a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system. Assist the dentist during procedures, providing support as necessary. Maintain sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of Dentrix software being a plus. Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is an advantage. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
