Job Summary:
Prep/Line cook needed Monday and Tuesday at downtown cafe.
We offer a small menu of sandwiches, soups and bowls with occasional specials. Working in a small open kitchen, cleanliness and good organization a must. Kitchen closes at. 3pm so no nights. No frying, room for creativity, please be a foodie who values simple, healthy, fresh and flavourful food.
We are a small but busy team so working well under pressure and multitasking are key. When not busy, a willingness to self start and do those dishes when necessary, or help co-workers in their roles is also a must.
Down to earth, genuine friendliness and a sense of humour are essential.
Monday and Tuesday and a possible 3rd short day during the week and fill-in as necessary
$18-19/hr with tips of approx .$6-9/hour

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cook
- Foodsafe level 1 mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
