As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety guidelines
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality
Skills
Strong cooking skills with experience in food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred
