Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in commercial driving, moving freight, and operating forklifts. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining effective communication with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Perform minor mechanical repairs as needed to maintain vehicle functionality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required min 3 yrs exp clean abstract required. Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with moving freight. A commitment to safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
