JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Augustine School is seeking a PART-time (0.2 FTE) Grade 6 teacher for FRIDAYS. This majority of this one-day-a-week position includes the teaching of the following curricular areas: Christian Education, Science, English Language Arts, and Math. The applicant must be able to work collaboratively with a partner teacher who works the other four days of the week, as well as with the teacher from the other Grade 6 class (we are a double-stream school), Education Assistants, parents, and their fellow teachers and staff members. In addition, the applicant must be proficient in the use of technology; specifically, a proficiency in technology and, in particular, the use of Google Workspace, and the use of programs such Seesaw as well as Second Step in your teaching are also assets. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be involved in extra-curricular activities and the life of the school.
