JOB DESCRIPTION

Terms:

Part-Time (80% Monday to Thursday)


Maternity Leave (Nov 15 start date)

Specific Duties:

Teaching grade four curriculum, specifically religion, language arts, math, science, social studies, etc. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues within and across the school Full Participation in student-learning and co-curricular activities outside of the school day Strong working understanding of differentiated instruction as it applies to teaching in an all-boys school Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning empowered by technology Experience with Google Classroom and/or FSA implementation is an asset

Extra-Curricular:

Experience or willingness to coach will be prioritized Demonstrated commitment to co-curricular endeavours is an expectation.


Priority Consideration will be given to candidates who possess the following:

Current pastoral reference confirming that he/she is a practicing Roman Catholic Certificate of Qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education


Salary Range: $62,000-$110,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
