:

The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following support of the company\'s vision, mission and values:

• Ensure professional game activity and respectful Customer Service by attending to patrons with optimal care and professionalism
• Adhere to the internal guidelines implementing the federal laws (FINTRAC) for the abatement of money laundering.
• Conveys and implements methodical error prevention and is involved in its continuous improvements.
• Jointly responsible for the strict compliance with licensing requirements as well as incurred liabilities (trespass, money laundering, social obligations).
• Engages in the interests of the Casino, encourages trustful teamwork and takes the position seriously.
• Acts self-dependent and assists the implementation of reform.
• Promotes and coordinates employee progression through discussion, instruction, and development of experiences.
• Makes certain that all game activities and transactions are carried out professionally and efficiently according to the Internal Control Manual and under strict compliance with legal requirements
• Responsible for the transactions on the tables as well as their correct entry and verification (with signature) of all transactions.
• Ensures that all game rules and activities are implemented according to The Great Blue Heron Casino\'s internal guidelines.
• Responsible for information relayed to the Pit Manager
• Jointly responsible for the correct accounting of money transactions within the Table Games Department and the issue of all legally required information in regards to table results.
• Halts personal activities and the activities of dealers on an unforeseen course of action. Corrects discrepancies in the manner agreed upon (with consideration to customer service) within the realms of authority.
• Reports to the Pit Manager any transactions that exceed $5000.00 CDN.
• Reports all incidents to the Pit Manager respectively in accordance with regulated operating procedures
• Reports any suspicious guest-behavior that may hinder the implementation of licensing requirements and/or incur liabilities (trespass, money laundering, social obligations) to the Pit Manager
• To perform other duties as required by the Pit Manager

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Experience as a Dealer 5
• Thorough knowledge of the applicable sections of the:

• Gaming Control Act
• Approved Rules of games
• Games Procedures
• Must be accurate and detail oriented
• Accustomed to work in a team
• Works independently, diligently and dutifully
