JOB DESCRIPTION




We are seeking a part-time ADST (Applied Design Skills and Technology) Teacher to join our teaching staff for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for engaging students in ADST, and will work collaboratively with staff in a faith-based learning community.

Duties & Responsibilities



Teach assigned ADST courses (e.g., Information & Communications Technology, Business Education, Drafting/Design, or related areas, depending on expertise and scheduling needs). Create engaging and practical learning experiences that foster student creativity, innovation, and the development of applied skills. Assess and report on student learning consistent with Ministry of Education and school policies. Participate actively in the broader life of the school and support its Catholic mission. Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and administration to ensure student success.

Qualifications & Requirements



Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility). Strong background or post-secondary training in ADST subject areas. Demonstrated classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to Catholic education and support of the mission and values of CISVA. Ability to contribute to a collaborative and student-centred learning environment."
