We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents, within a clinical setting. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy to promote emotional well-being and recovery. A background in hospital settings, pediatrics, or special education is highly valued, along with strong skills in patient care and case management.
Duties
Conduct individual, group, or family psychotherapy sessions tailored to patient needs
Assess patients' mental health status through interviews and standardized tools
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive support
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes
Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes to inform ongoing care strategies
Engage in research activities to stay current with emerging therapies and mental health trends
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources
Participate in case management activities to facilitate access to additional services such as special education or medical care
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Valid licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist or Mental Health Counselor
Experience working with children and adolescents preferred; hospital experience is a plus
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health and pediatric care
Strong understanding of research methodologies and data collection techniques in clinical settings
Experience in pediatrics, patient care, case management, or special education highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to various clinical environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $66.29-$121.12 per hour
