GreenValley Counselling Services is a faith-based psychotherapy center located in Cambridge, Brantford, Burlington, and Kitchener. We are committed to providing compassionate and professional counselling and psychotherapy services to children, individuals, couples and families. We work with a diverse population group and a wide variety of issues.
We are looking for a psychotherapist to work with individuals, teens and children at our Cambridge office. Associates work as contractors within our group, giving them the flexibility of private practice without having to manage the business side of practice.
This is an opportunity to develop your own niche within a collaborative, and supportive community of psychotherapists.
Core Qualifications & Skills:
Must possess a graduate degree in psychotherapy or its equivalent.
Ability and willingness to work with a culturally and spiritually diverse client base.
Training and experience working with Children or willingness to obtain needed training, eg. play therapy
Additional training and experience in Trauma an asset
Registration with a Regulatory College, such as CRPO, with full Registration or Qualifying Status, and valid professional liability insurance required.
Committed to the ongoing process of continuing education.
5 years' experience preferred but not required.
Additional Assets:
Ability to integrate Bible teaching with counselling and psychotherapy when requested.
Ability to pray with clients who request this.
A solid understanding of the impact of spiritual abuse and a sensitivity to power dynamics and the integration of Christianity and psychotherapy.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $68.00-$102.00 per hour
