We are currently seeking a

Registered Psychotherapist (RP)

or Registered Social Worker to conduct therapy and assessment services at our head office location in Ajax, Ontario, and virtually.

This position is for a full-time salaried person, and part-time or contractor work will also be considered. In-person work in Ajax is required, in addition to some virtual work from home flexibility. We provide steady client referrals, and offer psychological supervision and case support. Clients include WSIB, MVA, and private paying clients, and clinicians who have demonstrated experience with both adults and children will be given preference.

We are looking for experienced, motivated, and independent clinicians who specialize in treating various psychological, emotional, and behavioral conditions. Preference will be given to those with experience with WSIB and/or MVA clients, First Responders, those with specific training in evidenced-based treatment approaches, such as CBT, DBT, CPT, and ACT, and those who have experience treating children, adolescents, and adults.

Successful candidates should have:

A minimum of a master's degree in clinical or counselling psychology, mental health counselling, social work, or related discipline. No students please. Must be a licensed member of a Regulated Health Profession, such as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Registered Social Workers with experience and training in psychotherapy will also be considered. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Must be able to work in-person in our Ajax head office (some remote work will also be allowed). Experience with WSIB clients, and first responders is preferred. The ability to work with children, adolescents, and adults is an asset, and will be given preference. A good understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or ACT, and experience treating trauma and PTSD is an asset. Assessment experience, including WSIB, MVA, or Med-Legal assessments an asset. Ability to work well under the supervision of a registered psychologist. Ongoing clinical supervision and training will be provided. Availability to work during standard business hours, with flexibility for some evening appointments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as assessment and progress report writing are required.?Proficiency in a second language is an asset but not required. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on an ongoing basis.
