In accordance with the transition letter of understanding with UNA, current employees under the UNA Collective Agreement who accept an employment offer, issued after July 1, 2024, will not have any rights under Article 15: Layoff and Recall.Description:The Psychosocial Rehab Assistant (PSRA) works with a multidisciplinary team assisting with therapeutic programming within an in-patient or day treatment Mental Health program. Under the guidance of Registered Nurses and Family Counselors, the Psychosocial Rehab Assistant also supports the implementation of individual and group program plans for children and adolescents admitted to the mental health care unit. Knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent development, and therapeutic interventions is essential to optimal patient care. This specific PSRA opportunity involves offering therapeutic support to patients who may be holding in Emergency Department or who are placed \'off service\' in medical units throughout the hospital.

Required Qualifications:Completion of diploma in Social Work or Child and Youth Care or completion of Bachelor\'s Degree in Psychology . Additional Required Qualifications:As required. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and application of Attachment Theory. Knowledge and application of Trauma Informed Care. Knowledge and application of Collaborative Problem Solving.
