OverviewAre you a psychologist with experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological aspects of physical conditions? Do you have a thorough understanding of psychological reactions to workplace injury and workplace stressors? Were looking for a psychologist to join our growing Mental Health Services team. Youll work with teams specialized in psychological trauma, serious injuries, high-risk situations, brain injuries, occupational diseases, chronic pain, and difficult work relations.How youll make a difference: As part of our interdisciplinary case-management teams, youll focus on helping injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work.Where youll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a model that combines the convenience of some remote work with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, youll work two days a week in our Richmond office.We offer a flexible Monday-to-Friday work week. For those engaged in the registration process for the College of Psychologists of BC, we provide supervision for college registration purposes.What you'll do

• Engage in collaborative, proactive, individual case consultations
• Participate in team meetings
• Conduct file reviews and write clinical opinions
• Plan and monitor assessment and treatment services
• Assess injured workers to provide diagnoses, causality analysis, and treatment recommendations
• Offer educational presentations to staff to promote an understanding of psychology and the concepts and practices of case management

• A graduate degree in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or counselling psychology
• Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, or eligibility for post-internship registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in disability management, workers compensation, insurance, a medical-legal setting, or health care
• Experience providing direct psychological/neuropsychological assessment and treatment services
• Training and experience in conducting psychological assessments and/or treatment in an institutional context
