Role Description

This is a part-time, contract, on-site role for a Psychologist/Psychological Associate, or Psychologist/Psychologist in supervised practice, (PSP) at CDL & Associates in Batawa, ON. Hours to be negotiated.

The contractor will be responsible for:

- performing supervised psychological assessments, including administering, and scoring tests

- report writing

- providing therapeutic intervention to clients

- maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records,

They will also collaborate with other mental health professionals and participate in treatment planning meetings. The contractor will stay current with advancements in the field of psychology through ongoing professional development

Supervision, if applicable, contributing to registration for independent practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario Establishment of professional network within the community Excellent renumeration, to be discussed upon meeting qualifications noted below Private office space, use of office facilities, and free parking

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology Working toward registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario Experience in conducting psychological assessments, including intelligence, clinical, and personality testing (may include graduate work) Experience in providing individual counselling under the supervision of a registered psychologist (may include graduate work) Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to ethical and professional standards Fluency in English; knowledge of French and other languages is an asset

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $100.00-$150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
