Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with psychological disorders.

We are a team of 7 family physicians and looking to create a one-stop clinic offering counselling as well as helping in Adult ADHD diagnosis which is poorly served. The ideal candidate would help with the psychoanalysis aspect of ADHD diagnosis.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our team and help make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide therapy and counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment progress and outcomes. Stay informed about the latest research in psychology and apply evidence-based practices in treatment. Participate in data collection for research purposes as needed. Educate patients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Skills



Strong background in patient care with a focus on psychological well-being. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to psychological practice. Proficient in research methodologies and data collection techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125.33-$200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
