Key Qualifications



Completion of a

Master's Degree

or

PhD in Psychology

. Certifications in

EMDR

,

PE

, or

CPTE

.

Extensive experience

treating trauma and conducting formal assessments for adults. Proficiency in

trauma-focused psychological treatment programs

. Expertise in

psychological injury screenings

and crafting effective trauma treatment plans. Experience working in interdisciplinary or collaborative settings (or a willingness to do so).

Active registration

with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Experience in assessing and treating disorders in an

interdisciplinary setting

, particularly for clients with

physical and chronic pain

(preferred). Research and psychological consulting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement effective trauma-focused treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care. Mentor and supervise interns as part of training initiatives. Provide psychological services for clients with acute pain, chronic pain, traumatic injuries, and brain injuries. Conduct psychological assessments and provide counseling to improve clients' quality of life. Contribute to program development and innovation. Participate in monthly SCRUM meetings with interdisciplinary teams. Engage in weekly CREW meetings with the psychology team.
