Insight Health Solutions (IHS) is a provider of third party health services to a variety of sectors. Fully part of THP and embedded within the entrepreneurial program of THP Solutions, IHS works closely with our internal stakeholders to deliver high quality, expedited assessment, treatment and diagnostic services.

Insight Health Solutions is seeking a psychologist to perform pre-employment psychological screening assessments on civilian and police candidates. The Psychologist will lead the performance of these assessment, with the assistance of a psychometrist.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the provision of pre-employment psychological screening assessments within the law enforcement community as well as possess knowledge and is familiar with the Constable Selection System (CSS) Guidelines for Psychologists.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Perform in person pre-employment psychological screening assessments on civilian and police candidates.
• Provide a report that outlines the suitability of the candidate for the position identified

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited APA or CPA program
• Completion of APPI, CPA or CCPPP accredited internship/residency program
• Registration with College of Psychologists of Ontario, holding a certificate of autonomous practice.
• Knowledge of clinical assessments, psychometric tools and standardization samples and norms for each test used for the CSS.
• Excellent report writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to work effectively within a cohesive inter-professional team environment
