Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert mental health assessments, therapy, and support to diverse patient populations, including children and individuals with special needs. This role involves collaborating with medical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care in a clinical or hospital setting. The Psychologist will play a vital role in diagnosing psychological conditions, developing treatment plans, and contributing to research initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes.

Duties



Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages, with a focus on children and special education needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients experiencing mental health challenges. Collaborate with medical teams to integrate psychological care within overall patient treatment strategies. Collect and analyze data related to patient progress, treatment efficacy, and research studies. Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans and share insights on patient progress. Stay current with advancements in psychological research, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications



Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid license or certification to practice as a Psychologist in the respective state or region. Experience working with children, including those with special education needs, is highly desirable. Prior hospital experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with medical environments and interdisciplinary collaboration. Strong understanding of research methodologies, data collection techniques, and medical terminology relevant to mental health. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds. Experience providing patient-centered care within clinical or hospital settings is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services.
Job Types: Permanent, Casual, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $65.10-$169.06 per hour
