The position provides an opportunity to work in a broad clinical population within a continuum of services.Remuneration is fee-for-service or contract with an approximate annual income of $386,507.36 to $480,760 in addition to on call and teaching stipend which are remunerated separately.Call coverage allows for a balanced lifestyle as it is shared with all other Psychiatrists in the Department.The Regina Area with the has a Psychiatry Residency training program, is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the .The (SHA) is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing over 44,000 employees and physicians responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely health care for the entire province. The College has a well-resourced framework across the continuum that results in quality community partnerships, successful and comparable students across all sites, elevated community health, and better graduate retention in communities.Job QualificationsSuccessful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the in Psychiatry. Preference will be given to candidates with a special interest and additional training in Psychotherapy and those with RCPSC designation in Psychiatry.This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA.
