Who You Are & What You'll Do

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our clinical team. The focus of this role will be on providing psychiatric care, medication management, and consultation for clients engaged in therapy and diagnostic assessment services.
The psychiatrist will conduct evaluations, establish diagnoses, and support ongoing treatment for clients who are concurrently participating in therapy or psychological testing within the practice. This position also involves collaboration with our therapists, assessors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
This role can be remote or hybrid based out of any of our clinic locations.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for clients referred from therapy and psychological assessment services.
Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-ups for therapy and diagnostic clients.
Collaborate closely with therapists, assessors, and nurse practitioners to ensure continuity and alignment of treatment plans.
Review and provide consultation on diagnostic cases and treatment progress.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy as appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.
What You Bring

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice psychiatry in the province of Ontario
In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
Demonstrated experience in outpatient psychiatric care, particularly with clients engaged in therapy or psychological assessment.
Strong diagnostic and clinical formulation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Experience consulting with or supervising nurse practitioners and therapists is an asset.

This is a part-time role that will be based on a split model with guaranteed hours
