Independent Contractor
Summary
Reporting to the Disability Management team, the Psychiatrist will complete psychiatric assessment and report for clients referred to them by TELUS Health. Assessments will be completed via a video-call plaform.
Responsibilities
- Contact clients via video-call platform to perform full psychiatric assessment to understand their health condition and the factors that support or inhibit recovery;
- Assess risk and severity of mental health disorders and provide recommendations;
- Complete assessment report in a timely manner, using template provided by TELUS Health.
- In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island;
- Proven experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with moderate to severe mental health disorders;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, empathy, listening, and organizational skills.
