St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton is offering a

part-time

position within the inpatient unit for a psychiatrist specialized in mood disorders.


The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialized treatment for clients with primary mood disorders, ranging from first episodes to chronic and/or refractory conditions. Our multidisciplinary team consists of experienced nurses specializing in mood disorders, social workers, occupational therapists, trained psychotherapists, and experts in behavioral activation.


The ideal applicant must be a trained psychiatrist with FRCPC or an equivalent certification and must hold a valid license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The candidate is expected to have experience working with mood disorders, and a strong academic track record is a significant asset.


Additionally, the successful candidate will hold an appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.
