Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, providing comprehensive patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in hospital settings, particularly with children.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide ongoing therapy and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including data collection related to treatment progress. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies. Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric medicine and best practices in patient care.

Experience

Board certification in Psychiatry is required. Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to psychiatric care is essential. Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to patient outcomes are beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds are necessary for success in this role.

Pay: $350,000.00-$425,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
