Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary mental health team. In this role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mental health outcomes. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, utilizing evidence-based therapies and medication management. Your expertise will help transform lives by delivering high-quality psychiatric services in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring patient-centered care that promotes recovery and well-being.

Duties



Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and mental health assessments for patients across various age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and behavioral interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy Manage medication regimens responsibly while monitoring for efficacy and side effects in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Provide crisis management support during acute episodes, including PTSD care and working with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises or developmental disabilities Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless communication through accurate medical records and data collection Offer telehealth services to expand access to psychiatric care for remote or underserved populations Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and advancements in psychiatry

Experience



Post-residency experience as a licensed psychiatrist with a strong background in behavioral health and mental health counseling Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings Hands-on hospital experience managing acute psychiatric conditions and crisis situations effectively Demonstrated expertise in psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and working with people with developmental disabilities Familiarity with medical documentation practices, electronic health records (EHR), HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology Experience delivering psychotherapy modalities such as psychodynamic therapy alongside medication management Skilled in intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation, data collection, patient assessment, and post-treatment follow-up to ensure comprehensive patient care

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $150.00-$192.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
