Community Christian School in Drayton, Ontario, seeks a Christian PSW/EA to join our Learning Support team.

We seek an individual passionate about learning and supporting the physical and learning needs of students under the supervision of our Learning Support Teacher and principal. Applicants must have one of the following (or be in the final year of obtaining) an EA Diploma, A PSW Diploma OR equivalent college or university degree in a Child-related field (certified teacher, Development Service Worker, Bachelor of Social Work, Social Services Diploma) and have experience working with children. Experience working in this field would be a definite asset.

This full-time position is 6.75 hours per day, 5 days a week. The PSW/EA position begins October 20, 2025 and ends on June 19, 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist a student with their physical needs, including toileting. Assist teachers in implementing educational programs for children, particularly those with special needs or disabilities. Support students in their learning activities, fostering an inclusive environment. Communicate effectively with children and staff to enhance learning experiences. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators. Collaborate with other professionals to address individual student needs. Utilize early childhood education techniques to engage students in math and other subjects.

Pay: $21.00-$23.25 per hour
