Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate

Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Support Worker

with

experience supporting teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

. The role focuses on

community integration, life skills development, and supervised outings

in a respectful, structured, and smoke-free environment.

This position is ideal for a professional who understands neurodiversity, values consistency, and can safely support a teenage client in community settings.

What you'll do

Provide one-to-one support to a teenage client with Autism Facilitate

community integration activities

(e.g., outings, structured activities, errands) Support social skills, independence, and routine-based engagement Ensure client safety and emotional regulation during activities Drive the client to and from approved community activities when required Maintain clear boundaries, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times Follow all care instructions, safety protocols, and family guidelines

Qualifications

PSW, DSW, or equivalent experience working with individuals with Autism Demonstrated experience supporting

teenagers with ASD

Strong communication, patience, and behavioral awareness skills Valid driver's license with a

clean driving record

Access to a

smoke-free vehicle

suitable for transporting a client Ability to work independently and follow structured care plans Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Work Schedule

2-3 hours per shift Schedule to be discussed and agreed upon in advance
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Mileage reimbursement provided

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
