Overview


Seeking a mature, compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to a severely vision impaired 94 year old female. The client has no dementia nor lapse in mental faculties. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for your client.

Duties



Assist with personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping Offer companionship and emotional support , fostering a positive environment Monitor and document changes in client's health or behavior, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel Support client with mobility assistance necessary Travel with client to medical and personal appointments Travel with client to grocery shop Weekly meal planning Baking specific recipes for client Engage client in activities that promote mental stimulation and physical well-being Maintain a clean and safe living environment for client

Requirements



Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices Ability to work effectively with individuals with vision disabilities Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with client Compassionate demeanour with a genuine desire to help others
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
