Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at promoting comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing routine cleaning tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living, nursing home experience, or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia care and working with people with disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving including heavy lifting. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients.
