Job description

We are looking for a qualified PSW to care our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It's often a demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very gratifying. People who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are deserving and thankful for the exceptional support.

The ideal candidate will be dependable and courteous with outstanding communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

PSW Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of emergency response & First Aid (CPR) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent Valid Police clearance certificate

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and support to patients in assisted living and home care settings. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring effective communication with healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Offer companionship and emotional support, particularly to seniors and individuals with disabilities or dementia. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
